Goin' Campin' + new blog find

Today in my house we are busy preparing food, packing, and (for me) blending snacks and foods for this weekend. We will be heading to the Falls with quite a few families from our church and friends of friends :)

Our family has enjoyed our yearly camping trips in the past, and I am really looking forward to camping and being in the outdoors in cooler weather. I may not play sports, climb trees (rather climb down from trees), or like fishing. at. all.
However, I really enjoy being outdoors and sleeping in a tent; getting away from the city for a few days and enjoying nature is something I appreciate and love doing.
And considering our calander for the next few months,
this will be a nice little trip before lots of busy times :)
Thankfully, you can only live one day at a time.

In other news, I've been making lots of Braided Headbands (from Ruby at Cakies);
they're so fun and easy to make!
Just the thing for days (Like today) when you want a low-fuss style but still fun and pretty.

It's really more of a fun, personal blog rather than an art blog. I'm finding it so interesting to look at the pictures she has and learning more about her through her posts.
Also, she has really great music! Really fun to put on while cleaning the kitchen or dusting furniture :)
